We often spend weeks at a time travelling the remotest parts of the UK with productions. Logistics play a huge part in ensuring we have the right stock, people, vehicles and equipment in the right place at the right time. The more challenging the location, the more essential planning becomes. Shot Stop is designed for the locations where access is tight, infrastructure is limited, weather is unforgiving and crew comfort is hardest to deliver.

Our compact vehicles and mobile coffee bar can service an eclectic range of locations, from inside historic London buildings and narrowest alleyways to flooded fields in the Lake District to remote Welsh quarries and woodlands.
And our small-footprint vehicles are able to reach service positions that larger craft units cannot, often right next to set, reducing the distance between crew and refreshment.

Power, potable water, parking, prep space, overnight access and stock movement are worked through before the first call. Where infrastructure is scarce, we design the service and menu around the location rather than hoping the location will adapt.

In heat, we prioritise shade, hydration, coolers, fruit and food that holds up. In colder weather, the focus shifts to keeping crew warm. In wind and rain, we protect the offer, adjust the menu and use the vehicle itself when exposed setups stop being workable.
FROM tight city access to remote welsh quarries
A recent and demanding 14 week production needed a lot of planning and creative thinking. We manoeuvred our Piaggio Ape through exceptionally tight central-London gateway; protected food in the side of the Mercedes Vito when Welsh wind and rain made gazebo cover impossible; and kept teams fuelled across remote Welsh castles, slate-quarry terraces and exposed cliff tops.
We quickly transitioned from torrential rain in the Lake District to 35°C heat at Elstree studios adapting the service with the conditions while keeping the crew experience consistent.
